Saturday.

A level art is a joke. Art students can be so pretentious. The ones I know at least. I mean, after awhile,it's like shuttup, your work is so typical and 'safe'. You're not a rebel even though you might think you are one because you ignore the real essence of art and choose to pursue instead, something that the exam boards will deem good. When frankly, what's so artistic about being able to sketch what you see before you. What's so artistic about a fork if there's no meaning behind it and you're just doing it to look arty.

these images are completely inspired.
No, I am not a pervert (not entirely at least).
These images are performance stills from the artist Maria Abramovic's Lips of Thomas, 1975. She will be staging seven old performances at the Guggenheim in New York which I would love to be able to go to, but I'll be in Singapore partying my ass off. Poor me.

Her performances are kind of twisted in a way. Some of them include her lying on a bed over lit candles and incising herself with razor blades. I wonder how graphic the Guggenheim will let it be, but what is so fascinating about these mounted performances is her motivation behind them. She aims to test the limits of the body and soul.

I'm not twisted or sadistic, but i'm just fascinated by the study of the human psyche. and the human condition.

And although I hate to admit it, I do indulge in little idol worshipping now and then.Celebrating my secret bisexual alter ego (which every girl has, whether she likes to admit it or not)Here are images from covers of my favourite magazine - id magazine. It's the most awesome magazine on the face of this earth. And of course, what's a magazine without devon aoki. One of my favourite ladies on the planet.Alright, she's totally commercialized and though I'm not a big fan of models, it's her look that blows me away...

Isabell Huppert who is absolutely fabulous.Yea,she may not be much of a looker but hell can this women act.On top of that,it seems with age,she has epitomized the true idea of cool.
